About Rich Muir

Hi, my name is Rich Muir, and I specialise in working with people who are outwardly functioning – and often doing well – but inwardly living with ongoing stress, poor sleep, metabolic dysfunction, anxiety, or constant mental noise. Over time, this way of operating quietly erodes clarity, energy, and presence, even when life looks “fine” on the surface.
Based in the Currumbin Valley on the Gold Coast, I work with clients both in person and online. Over the decades, I’ve synthesised ancient practices in meditation and breath with proven, science-based methods, supported by my honours degree in Psychological Science. My honours thesis explored the relationship between stress and the respiratory system, deepening my focus on how breathing patterns directly shape nervous system regulation, mental clarity, and wellbeing.
The work is practical, grounded, and focused on helping people move from chronic stress into calmer, more coherent ways of living.
